      Development of a close knit three tier integrated marketing network linking rural periodical hats with principal/Submarket yards of Regulated Market Committees and finally with Centralised Terminal Markets with a view to achieve Sustained growth and expansion of agriculture and allied activities.

    • Reduction of waste -- both post harvest and also marketable surplus.
    • Promotion of Self Help Groups for agricultural production through organic fertilizers like vermi compost etc, direct transportation from  farm to markets and development of direct marketing & transportation  network.
    • Development of a competitive and organized marketing network so that farmers are not subjected to distressed sale.
    • Formation of co operatives of farmers, traders and other market functionaries.
    • Development of low cost zero energy/minimum energy storag farmers at rural areas.

    • Linking of 2900 rural hats/markets with three tier integrated marketing system.
    • Collection and dissemination of market intelligence to the farmers and traders from 100 market information centers through electronic media and development of on line system.
    • Assistance in formation of self help groups to reach our vision.
    • Training on all market related activities like grading, storage, processing and marketing and setting up a regional Agricultural Marketing Training Institute.
    • Creation of appropriate marketing infrastructures in rural periodical hats/bazaars, sub market yards/principal market yards and terminal market along with development of cold chain, pack houses, multipurpose cold storages etc  aiming at organized marketing system development.
    • Agricultural Marketing infrastructure Development through Public-Private partnership and adoption of Build-Operate-Transfer(BOT) mode.
